  T12 & T40     Greater efficiency     Sensor+Test ... Automotive Testing Expo

Dear valued customer,

Power generators must work economically. That’s why it’s necessary to optimize their performance and efficiency. However, using conventional measurement methods, their precise performance levels can only be ascertained with a high degree of uncertainty.

In a new HBM technical article, our torque experts outline the various measurement alternatives at your disposal. They subsequently recommend the best measurement method available - one which provides particularly low uncertainty.

Hydro-electric power generation is made even more efficient, thanks to the T12 digital transducer

Water turbines use hydraulic energy to generate electricity. Although the resource is a natural phenomenon, what matters here is high efficiency in energy production. But how can this be improved?

The use of technically-advanced measurement equipment promises enormous potential for improvement in power generation. In a new application report, HBM documents how a well-known manufacturer used the latest measurement technology to substantially improve efficiency in the generation of electrical power from hydraulic energy.
